Intense tomato sauce, basil and other savory herbs give traditional pizza sauce a more sophisticated taste and texture than other similar sauces I’ve seen in the grocery store aisles. I like a sauce that is less sweet and more intense, and Classico hit all the right spots on my taste buds with their new pizza sauce. I am a big fan of all Classico products, so I was really delighted when they introduced this one.

I like to heat a bowl of it and serve it alongside Kashi pizzas, which are great with their veggie toppings but need a little more tomato taste. The thick texture of this sauce will keep me munching on cheesy breadsticks and dipping pizza slices all winter long.
