Cookie milkshake
Chocolate milkshakes are delicious anytime. By themselves, they offer a cool, frothy drink. And with food, especially burgers, they complement your dinner. So why not in a cookie?
I have made chocolate cookies with a variety of nuts and chips before, but not with candy. I had a bag of Whoppers nearby, so I decided to use these crushed in with semisweet chips. The malted flavor made me think of my favorite milkshake, usually enjoyed through a drive-through window in the summer.
It’s nice to still get that same malty chocolate flavor, without a straw.
Chocolate Malt Cookies
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (I used Nestle Toll House)
1 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup crushed Whoppers
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift first five ingredients in a medium bowl. Set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs; combine with dry ingredients. Fold in Whoppers and chocolate chips. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for about 9 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool on wire rack.

Wow sounds amazing! i'd love to try this recipe out. i love butter/sugar cookies too because of their design and all, but sometimes its so hard to find one that also tastes really yummy! Hopefully this won't disappoint! 🙂
Oh this sounds soooo good. If you suck on the Whoppers, they just dissolve. My favorite way to eat them. See? I have useful tips sometimes! Ha!
